Recompressing
Wiagra Video Joiner contrary of the other joiners will recompress the input files before include them into joined file. This means that you may join different formats (e.g. AVI with MPEG files) together as well as select any of your installed codec, such as DivX for your output file. You may also set a lot of output options for output joined file (e.g. resolution, frame rate, number of audio channels – mono or stereo, etc.). As a disadvantage of recompressing may be slowly joining files in compare with others video joiners, but finally you will decide that it is better to wait for a while instead impossibility of recompression.

Keep original duration
Tells how the input files will be joined if the output frame rate is different than input frame rate. When this value is not set the number of input and output frames will be equal, but the duration and speed will be changed as the output frame rate changes. When this value is set the duration and speed are equal, but the number of frames will change as the frame rate changes. Set it when doing conversion between movie/TV standards (e.g. PAL to NTSC) otherwise you will see things speeded up or in slow motion.
